When it is really hot out on the weekends and I cannot get motivated to do anything at home, I go to my LYS and sit in the air conditioning with a bunch of other knitters and knit, and walk around, and check out magazines and patterns, and knit, and talk to the other ladies, and knit! Usually I stop on the way and pick up an ice cold, double brewed Dunkin' Donuts Ice Tea with sugar and lemon to sip on.
That's what I've been doing this summer to beat the heat :o)
